What you'll do:
- Researching trading and payment activity to detect suspicious orders by analyzing extensive, complex, sensitive data using cutting-edge systems and methodologies
- By using ML models and monitoring, identify anomalies and adverse patterns
- Assisting with the development, testing, and documentation of new anti-fraud technologies
- Maintaining the firm's existing fraud prevention systems and ensuring that new solutions meet industry standards alongside other Anti-fraud Analysts and Developers
- Assisting and consulting other business units on fraud prevention
- Everyday tasks may also include communicating with other business units to gather information and provide consultations.
What we're looking for:
- University Degree in Mathematics, Economics, or Finance
- Good background in Mathematics, Probability Theory, Statistics, Time Series analysis, Financial Mathematics and the ability to apply them to real-world problems
- Ability to explain and defend the methodology used in the development of quantitative models and tools
- Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, understandable manner to other business units
- Experience in SQL, Python, or R
- Upper-Intermediate level of English.
